It’s been raining for two weeks or so, every day and every night

Raindrops falling from my nose. They’re dripping out of sight

For days I haven’t seen the sun, just a shimmering grey and white

Through the mist and foggy waves, every day feels like the night

Every evening I light up a fire, listen to its crackling sound

My November mood climbs higher, when the grey is not around

And I sing another tune, that brings back happiness

But I’m still missing you. November is hurting in my chest

The last leaves are gone for weeks. Every tree looks bleak and ‘lone

Just a few spots of red and brown, but soon they will be gone

I miss the sunshine, the clear blue sky, the happy sound of the birds

Colorful landscapes in my head, instead this grey that hurts
