Imagine this: your living room turns into a concert hall for one evening. No big stage, no distance—just music, stories, and genuine connection. That’s exactly what happens at a living room concert.
I bring my guitar, my stories, and my songs—handmade music somewhere between acoustic pop, folk, and singer-songwriter. What you bring: open ears, a welcoming home, and people you’d like to share music with.
Whether it’s 10 or 30 guests, everything is meant to stay small, personal, and relaxed. There’s no need for elaborate tech, prior experience, or much effort—just a space that’s open to music and connection.
If you’d like to host a concert, feel free to get in touch. I’d love to share my music with you and your guests.
Most of my living room concerts take place in Germany – where my songs, my story, and many of my listeners are rooted.
But music travels. And so do I, whenever possible.
If you’re living elsewhere and would love to host a concert, feel free to get in touch.
Maybe one day, the road will lead me to your corner of the world.
FAQ - Living Room Concerts
What is a living room concert?
A living room concert is a very personal live music experience—right in the middle of everyday life, up close and intimate. It’s not about big stages, but about genuine connection. I play handmade music, share stories, and together we create a special evening—whether it’s in a living room, a kitchen, or a garden.
Where can a living room concert take place?
Anywhere that feels meaningful to you: a living room, kitchen, garden, or studio—indoors or outdoors. What matters most isn’t the size of the space, but the atmosphere. A wonderful concert can happen with as few as three people. Up to 50 guests are possible—anything beyond that would take away from the intimate setting I value so much.
How many guests should be invited?
That’s entirely up to you. Whether it’s three people on the sofa or 20 friends in the garden—anything is possible. Up to 50 guests works well within the intimate setting. What matters most isn’t the number, but the closeness and connection.
How does the concert work?
Exactly the way you want it. In a personal pre-concert conversation, we’ll decide together: Will there be breaks? Do you want to hear more background stories between songs, or just enjoy the music? Will there be drinks, snacks, or even a shared meal? You shape the setting, I provide the music.
What do I need to organize for the living room concert?
You prepare the space, invite your guests, and, if you like, provide a few drinks or snacks. I’ll provide invitation cards (digital or printed) and take care of everything musical: sound, program, rights management—so you can simply enjoy the evening.
How much does a living room concert cost?
The cost depends on several factors—mainly the distance to the concert location. The evening covers rights management (GEMA), sound setup, and travel expenses, while also supporting the production of new music. How it’s financed is flexible: either the host covers everything, or it can be on a donation basis (for example, a tip jar). Selling CDs or merchandise can also help.
Do I need to handle GEMA?
No. I take care of all GEMA-related matters. This is included as part of my organizational package.
Do I need any technical equipment or special setup?
No, you don’t need anything. I bring everything I need. I just need a small space of about 5 x 5 feet (1.6 x 1.6 meters) to perform—if outdoors, it should be covered or weather-protected.
Do you also play concerts outside Germany?
My living room concerts usually take place in Germany – that’s where my journey and many of my listeners are based. But music knows no borders, and sometimes the road leads me further. If you live in another country and feel drawn to this idea, feel free to reach out. Who knows – maybe one day I’ll play in your corner of the world.
